to me, this is decrypted txt file, which you normally only get with sony servers. but not sure myself. it is not same data as in flash dump

that is another story, if the sig file does the magic. so do you have a dex sig file? or do we have to change this file ourselves? afterall it is called "...cex sig". or maybe it was changed by experts to do it, and we only have to use the right version?

This is what i thought about, but i think that ObjectSuite will work all what we need is a working version of Lv2diag.self since i think that Sony revoked it in > 3.55 firmwares.

Yes, Lv2diag.self that we have work only with firmware up to 3.55. So the only way is to downgrade to 3.55 and exit from FSM with Lv2diag.self for 3.55.

But i had successfully converted my console to DEX without any problem using this tools and without editing any thing also. |

What kind of ps3 did you convert phat or slim? If it was a phat was it nand or nor? Also was your ps3 qa flagged before you converted? And what cex firmware were you on when you converted? Last edited by butnut; 10-17-2012 at 09:19 AM. |
