GT5 updated within Multiman won't play?
Yesterday I Jailbroke my ps3 for the first time as i upgraded my internal HD. I used Kmeow and installed Mulitman 04.06.02 Baseplus...
All went fine and played with GT5 for a while then before going to bed i saw there was a game update function within multiman, naturally i wanted to update assuming that from within mM this was fine, took hours so went to bed and this morning there was a lot of them so installed them in order 1 - 5 were ps3fw_03.5000)_ver_01.05 up to ver_01.09 6 - 9 were ps3fw_03.6000)_ver_01.10 up to ver_01.13 after that i attempted to start GT5 but it says i need to upgrade my system to 3.6 or later... So i assume it was those last 01.09 to 01.13 updates that did this. I did read that people can update GT5 up till 01.13 and play it so what am doing wrong and what can i do to fix this. If this post is in the wrong section or has been asked many times pls forgive me as this is my first venture into this... All help appreciated |

ok deleted all game data then updated 1.05 till 1.09 as it says ps3f_03.5000 - that worked for GT5
so the ps3f_03.6000 1.10 till 1.12 should also work then, will try when i get home. Not getting the fix you linked...in that whole page i can't one reference to GT5 but i probably don't understand what you mean... |

The fix posted on that page is for the update 1.13 hence why I said to install all official update up to 1.12 THEN install the fix (1.13) from that page to complete the process.

Up till 1.09 GT5 was still working - just now tried to install 1.10 only and after that GT5 wants me to update to 3.60 or higher
so what should i do? Ignore this and continue the updates? this morning i went up to 1.13 but same problem want me to update to 3.60 or higher regarding the fix - finally found it at the bottom of the page. So i ignore that i does not work and install all updates...then install the fix 1.13 and it should all work? Links on that page are not working....says file is restricted copyright violation - am googling for others ************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* Kept going with the 3.60 updates as well untill 1.12 then installed the fix you gave me but still the same problem asking for system upgrade to 3.60 or greater What else am i missing?
