Question about an installed package.

I have a fixed update installed, I want to delete it and then FTP it back over. When I say mount the game in mM would the ps3 still look and see the patch?

I will search and report back, meanwhile someone with more knowledge on mM will answer your question but for me yes, not a problem mM has to recognize it.

If you ftp the .pkg to the root of your internal HDD then, in mmCM>file manager/mmOS....navigate to the root of the HDD (dev_hdd0) and click on it (2x click if using mmCM 04.06.02) it will ask if you want to install via install packages and exit back to the XMB. Install you're all set.

@alienkid I no longer have it as a pkg, It would be at this point just be the raw files.

Hmmmm, okay.

I wouldn't even know where to begin to extract the files in question to try to make it a .pkg.

After you ftp over the unpacked pkg you should go to recovery mode and select rebuild database. Once you are back at the xmb installation is finished.
