Damn .... WTF?? ... I can not connect to ps3 ... the fact is that as stated earlier in this mode, each FSM PAX settings are reset to default .... (network settings, screen resolution, language, time) when I wrote on my computer connection is 192.168.0.100 and subnet mask 255.255.255.0 - and when trying to connect to the PS3 with the default settings - PS3 can not connect it says - IP address can not be obtained ... If I prescribe a PS3 - IP address 192.168.0.1 - and the main DNS 192.168.0.100 - then the PS3 is connected to the PC and receives its IP address ... but as the program to run when the PS3 - then at each new turn - on PS3 resets all settings - and in the log of the program as I understand it can not connect to the PC - it does not work respectively - this log

set your computer connection to 192.168.0.100 and subnet mask to 255.255.255.0

Don't worry about any settings on your ps3, they have no affect for this

Install 3.55 or less FW and put your ps3 into service mode

Take all 3 files from the converter-console folder and put them on a usb drive

Run OJ Suites then start your ps3 asap

@TheWhiteTyger

The attitude you throw will get you real far in life
And no I am not going to get into full on tut as I have no time, and that last post wasent directed at you alone its directed to the masses as most people want to be spoon fed and handed everything.

Good for you that you researched how to install linux (simple red ribbion live cd would have done) The point is that even a simple google search to install OOS/linux will turn up 20 tuts that are highly detailed that a one eyed monkey can follow them
If you wanted to know whats really going on and why/how OOS works so you can actually educate yourself then maybe you should be reading up on all of grafs/glevands work and start playing around from there, because as it seems to me you are blindly modding your ps3 without really researching, but by all means take this post directed to you with your attitude because you didn't get a full on tut on how OJ suite works or the answer you wanted to hear.
You forget I can care less what you think of me as I'm not here to be your information hub and I sure as hell dont work for you, so unless you produce me a paycheck heres a good place for you to "research" on your own http://ps3devwiki.com

The reason you are getting the pass/fail is because the system already passed, the fail is coming because its just pining the system again trying to do it all over again hence the fail
