Thx i spent an hour looking for the app in google before asking here
![]() For the record... The app works (it does the 2 decompressions)... but in my "windows XP" + "NET framework v4 client" the GUI is a bit buggy -When the main app is open, there are 2 "command line" windows that opens... this windows doesnt close after the main app is closed -The decompression of "dev_flash" (by clicking the right button in the GUI)... zombifyes my XP... looks like a crash because the mouse pointer is freezed (but XP returns to live with a CTRL+ALT+SUPR). Is not a crash, but annoying and not working These are the 2 bigger problems i found... after some tests i realized the main GUI (PS3 PUP Extractor.exe) is dependant of other 2 tools that are in the same folder (pu.exe ... and... df.exe). This apps works "standalone", doesnt have GUI... but can be used by command line, or double clicking df.efe (that seems to be made by HSReina) is the one that decompress the dev_flash files The better way to use this app "standalone" is to drag an drop it next to the PS3UPDAT.PUP.... double click df.exe... and wait for the command line window to finish the extraction... it creates 2 folders: dev_flash ... and... dev_flash3 |

pupexplode extracts the files in ***.tar.aa.*** format, is not a "double click" app... and is dependant of the ".ps3" keys folder
