No one uses it cause it sucks ass, You cannot use Linux on 3.56 JFW, Some homebrew will not work, Its basically a MFW 3.55 with 3.56 added features.
I'd rather be on 4.25 then on 3.56 JFW. Most games will not work on JFW anyways, Well thats what I heard any way.

you cannot downgrade to 3.56JFW unless you run it in mfw builder to create a downgrade firmware with the downgrade hashes.

it was made for 3.55cfw users to upgrade to 3.56cfw but the jfw was rubbish and you get stuck in it (you need a hardware flasher to downgrade to 3.55 so you can update or you brick)

as the o/p has run min ver checker and it has told him 3.56 is his min then creating a downgrade 3.56JFW is suicide as he will be unable to put 3.56ofw or update higher and his system wont allow 3.55fw or below so he needs to wait and see if the 4.21 cfw is real or not (the one multiman has been prepared for)

yeah but if hes got a flasher to get on to 3.56 JFW would he beable to get to 3.56 ofw or higher fw from 3.56 JFW with a flasher?

like u said and i did for the op as a another option wait to see what happens with this cfw 4.21 as if its real it would be better than 3.56 cfw . wait and see if he can install it via flasher

true if he doesnt loose his dump then he should be able to re-flash back to the f/w he is on now.

so it just leaves a 3.56JFW to be run through mfw builder to create a downgrade f/w .

oh and something decent to run on it

@carldenning
just to add
i assume the jfw uses the same 3.55 keys and they didnt create there own or anything stupid (although this is D/H were talking about lol)

as you need the fsm dongle to work to do the downgrade if the JFW isnt the 3.55 keys then you will get stuck in fsm

i doubt the JFW uses different keys. but just to be on the safe side i thought i best mention it

if the o/p tries this then keep your origional dump safe.

Downgrading Requires You to Go into FSM, And to get out of FSM You need the LVL1.self For your Specific FW to Exit it.
