Howdy from Texas
Sup everyboy! I am new here but no stranger to gaming. Some of you may or may not know me from a retro iso site I moderate.
 Anyways... I just acquired my first PS3(Backwards compatible 80gb CECHE01) 2 months ago from my brother for free(YLOD), along with a 2010 Sony Vaio Laptop that had a broken screen. I reflowed it in the oven at 400F approximately 200C for 10 mins. Applied new thermal past and installed a 320gb hdd from the free laptop into the PS3. Been working since the first part of this month, and I now have about 50+ games on the drive with much room to spare. I was lucky to acquire a system with a full year of PlayStation Plus left on it so I will be going the legal rout and just grabbing all the free PSN games I can till the year is out in August of 2013. I seriously hope by that time their is a new Jailbreak for higher firmwares. If not oh well, still gonna have fun playing Dust 514. Well, enough ranting. Thanks for the welcome. Btw I also should mention I did this mod to my case. Granted it looks like **** but hey, first mod I ever did to a system. I figured it needed it since it has already had ylod once, and was a free system.

, i have a bigger hole there...lol , although some people say it will make the problem more worse. (overheating).
the new multiman have this temperature thing in it, and i did a little testing , have a hole there or seal it again, did not show any difference in results , i also have a fan speed mod... |
