I got a major issue here... today all of a sudden all of my blu ray movie stop working. 2 night ago I was still watching my Indiana Jone blu ray set, however today I decide to try my Dark Knight Return Blu and it say i need new key... cool, no problem...

However, even when I try to play my old blu ray that used to work; they all stop working and give me the error code 8002997F and say this video cannot be played. I was like WTF. Anyone experience something like that? From what I gather, 8002997F noramlly is a region issue but all my blu ray are usa disk or they are all region.

I tried real ps3 game and they load so it is not a blu ray drive issue, tried Eternal Soneta, Ghost buster and Yakuza 4, all load fine. Although I had to delete ghost buster installed data for the game to load. I Tried reinstall firmware and that get me nowhere.

Any advice is appreciated, I am trying not to buy a separa5te blu ray player for my bedroom lol.

what is the firmware that you are on? , if it's not the latest then that can be the problem?

anyway i don't know where this key stuff goes, guess you can't delete that..

So my only hope is a new cfw with at least 4.11 or buy a stand alone player or hope 2k2y is real?

Is there any known want to restore the ley so I can at least watch my old blu ray? I know this soudn wierd but it felt just like when people dwongrade and people got their key revoked.
