Hi all,

I am planning to buy a PS3 by next month i want to clarify some doubts

it may sound like a noob question but to be frank i am new to consoles

1.should i buy a console from sony store or from retail shop which are modded and i don't use online PSN service

2.If i buy a modded PS3 will it able to play future coming games because i hear some people saying that we need a latest firmware to play latest games

3.Should i buy current PS3 slim or should i wait till the release of PS3 super slim in india

if i want to play all pirated games what model should i choose i am from india

what should i buy please help me

is it good to get Ordinary PS3 or PS3 MOVE

because after buying i should not regret

brand New PS3 or Old modded PS3,choice is upto u dude..
although,
u ll c that d Price of Brand New PS3 ll be RS3-5k Cheaper
than old Modded PS3..

If u r using Modded PS3 donot Update.
else u loose all backups.
New upcoming games cant be played on cfw ps3 unless a patch for it is made.
Current CFW is 3.55 , OFW is 4.25.

u ll only get OFW firmware above 3.73 if u planning to buy New PS3 from retail shop this Diwali.</edit>

Anything under 3000 is *fine* just check the models.

because of this forum i came to know this much about PS3 or i would have purchased one blankly and got into trouble thanks everyone

now i a guy who sells all these kind of console he says PS3 consoles which are coming to market from 4-5 months back are not able to modify and will not be able to modify later also what to do i was planning to get for this Diwali



what to do

should i proceed to buy PS3 use it until a mod is available or drop of getting it

i cant afford huge amount games DVDs

any suggestion please

Not 100% true.

2500's are 50/50 depending on datecode.

<2500 are 100% hackable (hardware WILL be required to downgrade to 3.55 inorder to jailbreak it, if the unit is not on 3.55 already.).
=2500 are 50/50 (any 2500 series made Jan-March 2011 MIGHT be hackable: TRIPLE CHECK before buying... Anything before those dates <=December 2010 = hackable, anything after those dates >=April 2011 = not hackable).

get yourself a predowngraded console mate.. best way to make sure you can do what you want
