Possible to hot swap a Nor with E3 Flasher

I wasn't sure where to put this thread so, I figured i'd put it here.

I was wondering the E3 flasher has the ability to switch the Nor chip while the ps3 is/has loading/loaded?

I know it has the ability to swap the Nors before the ps3 starts but how about while its loading?

I figured i'd ask before I tear apart my ps3 again and start cutting traces.

IM not sure if it does swap NORS while running or if you have to switch the switches while its off then turn it on.

If you taking about switching the onboard NOR with a different one from another console you can but you need the CPU, Dump of the NOR & Sycons from a donor PS3 in able to "swap NORS".

Same console, just hot swapping from the motherboad NOR to the onboard e3 one or visa versa.

Oh okay so yeah the first thing I said you switch the switches first before you turn it on to swap NORs because if your doing it while its loading it could brick your console

I don't mind bricking the NOR's since I have multiple copies of original NOR's data.

For the e3 flasher to switch the NOR's the tristate would have to be soldered/power trace would have to be cut.

Before I start cutting traces, I just wanted to check to see if someone who has actually cut the power trace/soldered the tristate has actually tried hot switching the NORs. So if it dosn't work then I don't have to start cuting traces.

Try asking @bailey escream its extremly difficult when I have to rely on research and not have the actual thing in my face. Also @playerkp420 is good with the E3 Flasher. Sorry I couldn't be of help.
