Alright so I was away for the weekend and I come back to this craziness.
I've read the first post and the last 3 pages of the thread and now I want to try to get a better picture of wth I just read.

Ok so a group selling (or free or whatever, irrelevant in the end) "cd-keys" so that you can gain access to a 4.25 cfw but it required you sending them your eid0 which potentially gave them access to your PSN. And the app used on your computer was also a backdoor trojan? (this part was unclear but probably irrelevant too) And their site seems to have disappeared along with contact with the team?

Wow! I have ripped some people off when I was younger but holy hell I nominate this one for scam of the decade! Truly impressive. (I hope I don't offend, I'm just amused at the effort put into it)

On the bright side though, this proves that 4.25 cfw is possible?
Or was that a hoax too? From what I read it didn't seem to be...

Someone mentioned a backdoor on their comp, so I was curious about that part. Like I said I only read the last 3 pages...

Well then **** at least they gave us something out of it.
Now I guess it's just a matter of time before devs get this up and running for everyone (for free I'd hope.... ) ?
Or is it gonna be one of those things where it's more complicated than that?

i also got my BD-drive broken because of sony **** hardware
you can play most games discless if you are on 3.41 hermes
just downgrade the ps3 then when cfw is out we can have keys to decrypt games and resign them with 3.41 keys

that's it for now. The devs will have this cracked by the time they get up and running....lol

so your saying with my broken ps3 bluray im better off using 3.41 hermes ,than 3.55 cfw ?
also i tried replacing the laser and it still doesn't light up all it does is take in the games and do 1 spin lol i gave up on it.
