What model is your ps3?
Don't tell me the hdd size, that is irrelevant, and is useless info.

If your ps3 is a phat it will have a label on it that says CECHXXX

If your ps3 is a slim it will have a label on it that says CECH-XXXXA or B.

No one can truly help you unless you provide this info.

check the pup's integrity... like md5 hash

do you have a BR in the drive
