So if I gathered this right.. for people who have CECH 2K model and are on OFW 4.2X or any OFW above 3.55 still need an E3 flasher unless the bootldr is cracked?

Yes, I don't think you should use this firmware at the moment guys. Really, what's the rush and what if a new rebug came out that worked perfect with multiman and hermes bdemu, but you were stuck on this firmware!? :o

1. will I who ownes a ps3 -3001 be able to install a cfw if i am on ofw 4.25 sometime in the immediate future?

Working perfect.

Fifa 13 not modded in any way. Took official on line 1.02 update and now playing on line with out any issues.
Playstation store is also working fine.

I can't believe some of you guys are not installing this.

It wont last long I bet all of sonys staff get called in this week and get told to sort it.

This is a massive kick in the balls for sony, I bet they thought we were all stuck on 3.55 for ever.

I installed this firmware and nothing at all went wrong, also a new rebug is coming Evilspern hinted at it. Dean just release an update to work with this new firmware so everything shout be OK now.

EDIT: yep mM working fine now.

I've heard no. Apparently new PS3s use a newer lv0. Maybe in the future that will be leaked too, and there will be no need for downgrading at all.
