So i have 4.25 spoofed CFW with PSN (the one which came last week)
and today regro brought the new CFW so went to update since i had regro CFW yet when i came back i saw the PS3 not responding to the TV

i did open it again yet nothing new black screen and i cant get in recovery mode

all what i get is the ps3 with power led on and with holding it i only can shut it down....

any help plz? or this is impossible to solve?

One more here, CECH2504B 320GB, had CFW rOgero 3.55 v3.7 installed, installed OFW 3.55 from Recovery Menu and then Rogero CFW 4.21 from Recovery Menu as well. It finished installing and then black screen. No HDD light indicator, no DS3 conectivity, no tv output and cant get back to recovery Menu. Gonna have to buy a flasher (i nerver had my PS3 downgraded before btw)

I got a flasher so I am gonna test this since I have a chech2501b console. This is just strange as hell for me. I can't understand why the hell it matters what firmware you come from. I mean, as long as the syscon isn't hashed from downgrading, and you are on 3.55, any 3.55, you should be able to update to this firmware. Anyone with knowledge please feel free to school me. Something to do with peek and poke, or lvl patches, or just blatant luck? Strange I tell you.

Umm i think they haven't dehashed it which means they bricked it.

Everyone who is encountering this right now is probably quoting Adam Sandler from the movie Spanglish when he needed a moment to himself and utterly screamed "Shhhh********tttttt!!!!!!!" in despair.

No harm intended, I just wanted to make joke about this. Hopefully this remark cheered the bricked encounterers a little.

I don't think that has anything to do with it. Trust me, with all the "help me unbrick my console" p.m's I have gotten, this was my first thought too. But people who have never downgraded are having this issue. Something really strange is going on here and I am pretty sure it is either a compatibility bug, or a lvl patch that we aren't aware of?

Bugs still need to be worked put. This was just a rushed CFW anyways

I agree. I have been telling people that I strongly think they should NOT update to this cfw unless they have the means of fixing it I.e hardware flasher. Us that have a hardware flasher need to get this thing out and figure out a fail proof, step by step guide to updating to help others who don't have a flasher avoid bricking.
