This is what I'm wondering, some older games with modded eboots work, some don't. Obviously those with original eboots will work, got to sift through the lot to find out.

I'm asking beacuse if I remember right there was some ''banned'' keys in higher Fw's ? (like homebrew signed with keys wich alow use its usage on 3.55 CFW is bannned and needs to be resigned or that nothing to do with eboots of the games ? )

I'm a noob, i would like to ask, I have my PS3 on OFW 3.7xx, can I update my PS3 with this CFW? My PS3 have never been downgraded, the OFW that it came with was 3.60, rigth now I'm at work and i can't confirm the model of my PS3.

No, you need to be on 3.55 to use this.

So I have an e3 dual boot 3.55cfw and 4.25ofw
Can I update my 3.55cfw to this 4.21cfw.

I've tried and it recognizes the .pup file but then goes onto tell me that the data is corrupt should I redownload it?

Is it saying thins because it has been downgraded?

Right. I'm a bit impatient, so I'll ask: My PS3 is a CECH-2004B/250 GB HDD/3.55 KMEAW. It has never seen a firmware higher than 3.55 but it does have one of those 4.25 Spoofers installed.

a. Do I need to do the memorydump thing via multiman?

b. Do I need to do the QA flag thing (which I'm not sure what it is but I'll google my way through it)?

c. Has anyone else with the same PS3 specs done this successfully?

d. Is there anything else that I'm forgetting here that is essential?

I hace CECH 2504A with 3.50 form factory, currently on 3.55kmeaw... should I try to update? cause I don't have a flasher or a valid dump...
