No its not rogero has certain bypasses in it to allow you to downgrade straight to it. If you would like to install another firmware after downgrading you need to QA Flag and dehash it

Actually rogero has a patch to not check the syscon, because the syscon is hashed for downgrading. Then you have to dehash the syscon to go to a firmware that has those checks in place or you brick.
Edit.... Beat me to it justthatdude

Damn, we're on same titanic guys. I got nothing more than a black screen on my ps3, the console just blacked out after some time installing the update. When I try to enter the recovery mode the ps3 just do one "beep" then turns off. Any solutions?

haha (no i'm not laughting at your situation) it's just when i saw yesterday that his cfw version didn't had the syscon hash checks patched i made a bet...
After downgrading dehashing is a must follow step... I think that if you have a flasher you can dump and replace the lv1 with one without checks then you'll be good Last edited by r07f1; 10-23-2012 at 06:24 AM. |
