Hi all!
I have a ps3 cfw 3.55kmeaw, before I had a 3.56 and I went to the 3.55 simply by flashing the cfw through recovery, I can install the new Rogero CFW or do I follow a special procedure?

In an ideal world, people would do that but people jump on anything as soon as it's released and then post "brick".

In all fairness to them though, this wasn't exactly tested like Kmeaw and MFW Builder were. They were tested constantly for a few days/weeks(?) before release.

With the breakthroughs in the last two years, there are ways to recover from bricks so it's not as bad as the so called wanky bricks.

@JonahUK it just annoys me how people jump in blindly or dont read first. Its elementary to know or atleast have a good idea of what you are doing before attempting something.... isn't it?

the missing appldr key can be found with the help of the new lv0 key, right?

I am not going to update to any other firmware when there are bricks reported (even from never downgraded consoles like mine).

Discless is very important point in any CFW
maybe people have they drives working and they don't worry about it but when you use a bd in the drive when playing from hdd the BD-DRIVE work a lot an can stop working any moment,we just need to figure out how bdemu of dex is working (we have keys and we can decrypt anything )

If it were me, I would buy a flasher first if you are going to be flashing something the moment it's released.

I have 1 PS3 on DEX and 1 on OFW.

DEX 4.21 P&P will come eventually so I will just sit back and wait.

I think its fair enough to ask you to have one legit game in the drive if you are going to pirate your games to high heaven.

I understand the point about "if your disc drive is broken"... but if mine was broken and I wanted to play back ups, I would get it sorted, one way or another, so it wouldnt be an issue for long.

That's the one I am only thinking about since yesterday

My other 3.55 PS3 stays on 3.55 till there is a new CFW that can do the same or more and has no brick alert....
