My apologizes in advance for my noobish question. can someone confirm that i'm doing it right?

on usb drive put the file inside PS3/UPDATE/ folder, named as UPDATE.PUP. then go to recovery mode and select update from usb.

Am i correct?

I was going to wait a few days, but couldn't resist

-Model: CECH-20xxA (120GB) Never been higher than CFW3.55
-Made a back up of the NOR/NAND dump using multiman
-Disabled spoofer
-Unpluged external HDD
-Ejected Game Disc
-Install Rogero CEX-4.21 CFW via xmb from kmeaw 3.55
-Updated MM
-Tested Lego batman 2

All working great

you know not all people are ready to open their ps3 to change the laser so the only solution they have is to buy another ps3 but nowdays its hard to find a hackable one
so its more resonable to find a easy way to run discless and let our laser have a rest
i'm not encouraging by this pirating games,i just want to clear that we need to use our hardware when we realy need it like playing BD-MOVIES or BD-GAMES

dont install it as its been adviced to only install it if u got a hardware flasher incase your ps3 bricks . you more than welcome to install it . but if your ps3 breaks its your fault , check out this thread http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php...585#post456585 maybe ask him if he wish he had a flasher before instaling the fw cos he got a bricked ps3 and never read the warnings

ok I cant get this to work I just keep getting that 'the data is corrupt' after install process via recovery menu downgrading to ofw3.55 then trying again
