But yeah, unless you have a bank balance to match, you have practically no chance of winning anything against these companies.

tl;dr

PS3 is a computer and as computer go, they're used to make changed whether software or hardware.

The only thing I like about $ony are their video game consoles and some of the games. For everything else they can go fück themselves.

Btw, if I posted this comment insulting $ony like this the fanboys there would all be pissed off like they're usually are when I diss anything I want.

I was referring to software sales, I think a small win is still win and there are some that wont buy a game they might have for their OFW PS3 now that the 4.21 keys are available (some people prefer to have CEX than play with their DEX). Its only sad that the devs will be hurt the most...

So because $ony is not responsible for providing security for our financial and personal data that we send to them via our PS3s and other $ony products, we must provide our own security.
Therefore I choose to install custom firmware so I can not use SEN and I can set up my own security.

So sony wants us to use all real information, store a credit card on their system, but isnt liable for theft of information that they require you to use.....and people wonder why I hate the US judicial system as much as I hate Sony.

This is good news in my opinion. These lawsuits are mainly filed in an attempt to make some quick money. Can anyone explain to me, or show me a case where someone was so affected by the PSN hack that they need tons of money to cover the damage that they recieved? I havnt seen a single case like this, so why are they entitled to a huge amount of money? This has little to do with consumers rights, it is about a civil lawsuit.

Class action lawsuits are sometimes filed to punish the companies financially. This can be a good thing. But Sony lost over $170 million dollars if i'm not mistaken on this PSN hack, not to speak about hits to their reputation. I dont see why extra civil lawsuits on top of this is needed.

How it is a win if it hurts the developers the most?

I hate to rant again, but here goes. This BS pretty much all starts with the politicians in the US Federal Government. Most of which are attorneys, and these massive corporations that are forced to go along or be decimated by not playing the games created by the Politician/Lawyer.

If it weren't for these F-ed up laws and regulations created by the corrupted politicians, then these Giant corporations would have nobody to snuggle up in bed with and there would be far less corruption.

It's not one party or the other either. Democrat or Republican, they all are guilty. I'd love to physically remove those crooks from office. We only have elections and what we end up with is two choices. Corrupt or corrupt. What ever happened to just electing the regular guy in to office. You know, not some rich Ivy league guy who thinks they know what's best for us/, but a normal citizen just like the rest of us?

We all need to get louder and let these bastards know we won't take this BS any more. Just sayin

Money is power. Nobody should have expected anything less than a $ony victory. When somebody can throw as much money at a lawyer and courtroom as $ony can then you might expect something different. I'm sure the judge got a nice campaign contribution and whatnot for his decision. Justice is definitely blind...but not in a good way.

Out of curiousity, what justice are you refering to in this case?

Don't you think that Sony got enough damage after the PSN hack though? Cost them around $170 million dollars.
