LoL I'm Mean This release Is beyond Awesome BuT for Guys like me To have to convert All my 50 plus Eboots to 4.21 When All i want for Christmas is a couple of New Games Out Would Be a Pain lol Because Sony is always releasing New Firmwares It will always be a Game. i keep getting disc read error while installing game data for Dishonored tried both internal and external, just updated multiman to 04.08.00 also still no go. Anyone else had this problem also? Other than that everything works great I had to pause my game of resident evil 6 to type this

Updated my old Phat 4 USB port console. Worked. Not greedy for games, just did it for the rush. Was seriously ****ting myself. Still shaking.

First of all i want to thx all the teams that worked hard on getting those keys and this new CFW... This is my first post ever and my english isnt perfect so pls be nice with me

dadi4168 ! I have the exact same problem with my PS3.. I own a CECHA01 till the release and im using Kmeaw CFW 3.55 till January 2011...

Fisrt of all i did a NAND backup with multiman
Then I installed toggle_qa.pkg (even if i NEVER downgrade) and i double checked that it was runing under the network option
Finaly I put the new 4.21 CFW in the correct folder on my usb stick, booted in recovery mode and started the update.

After the PS3 finished checking for the update BANG blue screen just like you.... and then i realize that my PS3 wasnt bricked, because even with the blue screen i could start my ps3 back on recovery mode clicked on the ps button + x and BANG my PS3 come back to life back on 3.55 Kmeaw...

Next i tried something else.. i readed here that few ppl went back to OFW 3.55 before updating to 4.21 CFW so i tried it.I put the OFW 3.55 back on my usb stick booted on recovery mode again and start the update... right after the PS3 finished checking the update BANG the blue screen came back just like it did with the 4.21 o.0

When Kmeaw went out last yr, I remember having to reinstall ofw 3.55 over geoHot CFW and it worked well ... for some reason i cant do it anymore.. basicly i cant update at ALL my ps3 with recovery mode for now...

I doubt the problem is from the new CFW but more with our PS3 model,,, lets just hope we'rent the only one with this and someone will find a way to fix it ! Any sugg is welcome ! Thx

A CFW for those lucky people who are not stucked in a 3kconsole/downgradeConsole/SlimConsole Etc.

A Functional CFW for people stucked on 3.55 CFW
