Now I haven't updated to 4.21 CFW due to 2 reasons:

1. REACTPSN
2. RetroARCH might not work


Now I've just saw the BASEPLUS package for the new Multiman version which is 4.08.00, and it has the RetroARCH emulator included, so would that work in the 4.21 CFW?

and I believe REACTPSN wont work due to all homebrew not being resigned for 4.21 at the moment?

You don't need REACTPSN anymore. This new CFW has been spoofed to 4.25 with direct access to PSN. Multiman 4.08.00 is fully compatible with the 4.21CFW and therefore RetroARCH will work. However, keep some patience for a fully stable solution and don't update just yet. If you still wanna update, I suggest going through the update procedure carefully and multiple times. Cheers

okay RetroARCH is answered, as for the REACTPSN part, I know I dont need it anymore, as in I probably wont need to run it on 4.21, but Will the DLCS and games that I have on the ps3 thats been activated with it stop working if I update?

Im not thinking of updating until I get a bit more information of what works on 4.21 and what doesnt.

Basically as long as the games work, emulator works, all of my reactpsn activated content and fixes made by JohnnyMandli/PropositionJoe/EbootleggerJoe works, then I have no reason to stay in 3,55 anymore. (of course im gonna wait until the CFW is more stable though)

and about the "Direct to PSN" part that you mentioned, does that mean i can FINALLY download stuff from the ps store? like I wont get that annoying activation error anymore?

The correct process for people who was originally on 3.55 kmeaw from the beginning (never used a downgrade flasher) must go through these proper steps right to prevent bricking/other issues?

3.55 KMEAW >> 3.55 OFW >> 4.21 ROGERO

DLC's should be fine. And yes, you have full access to the PSN Store for all and any downloads but which activation error are you referring to??

the activation error im referring to is the "error occured during install operation 80027980"

That happens when your account is deactivated and you cannot reactivate it. I'm not sure what to do about that mate as I never had that error. Have you tried to reactivate the account lately?? You can call $ony and say it was a mistake.

thats odd..I did reactivated my ps3 without problems when i follow the correct procedure on activating it, you know in account management and the activate system? thats what I did and my ps3 became activated. I DID called Sony and talked about that error when I got them to fix my login information and they said just to wait 7 days after activating your console. Its been past 7 days and I never tried again yet due to waiting for a stable 4.21 CFW. Although my PS3 is a CEHEL1 model and its supposed to work but im not risking it.
