Well, the title says it all. I have no idea what possibilities exist now, or what help these keys will actually do other than allowing 4.25CFW.

I know that the private key can be used to decrypt "everything" on consoles that use it, and other keys could be found. I assume that the private key can be used to sign code.

Two specific questions:

1) Will the RSOD be fixable on >3.55OFW without downgrading to 3.55?

2) Is a software method of downgrading from >3.55OFC on the horizon?

I think quite a lot is possible on 1k/2k/and some 2.5k PS3's, but beyond those its no change for late 2.5k/3k/4k's (LV0.2)

I'm just wondering about psn titles and dlc.

Duplex released a buttload a while back. So its possible to do, but I'm wondering how likely it is that they'll get the PS3 to jtaged 360 levels. With like every single release on XBLA essentially being available for free to jtag users who look hard enough :P

I have money set aside atm for journey, resident evil chronicles and wonderboy in monsterland.

But damn, I'd love if someone cracked all the Folklore DLC for me. I'm not paying for that **** :P

We don't need to know about any piracy you wish you take part in. No piracy talk here. If you want to do it, go ahead but these forums aren't for facilitating it. These forums are legal and talking like you are, makes them illegal if a majority started doing it.

LOL? There is a lot of piracy talk.. And it's not like he's asking for a release he's just asking if things will/can be released in the future.

If piracy talk is a complete no-go then I can't understand why there would be a TB section not to mention the game fixes and game release sections...

I did my math and I'm off to HMV tomorrow to trade in my pokemon games. I'm gonna hopefully grab £30 worth of PSN card in HMV, and use my points to get a further £5 in in game. I have like £1.42 in my wallet, so I can afford Journey, Resi Chronicles and Wonderboy in monsterland.

Just praying that psn access isn't revoked before tomorrow evening in the uk! :P lol

It's nothing personal, I couldn't give a monkeys but openly admitting piracy or intent to pirate is not something that's accepted to my understanding because it brings the website into a legal situation it doesn't need to be in and your post served no purpose at all except to state that you're so happy that you can now pirate and hopefully not pay for some DLC.

That's different and is relating to opening up the firmware, a grey area. Getting content for free that should be paid for is obviously not the same.

Just wondering. Why can't it be installed over OFW 4.21. I have a console that is on 4.20 and can be downgraded but I'd rather not buy a flasher if a free option is possible.
