You can enter the recovery menu, on every firmware since 2.60.

But to downgrade from 4.21 cfw, you need to use the 4.25to3.55 pup, then install 3.55 checkoff pup.

from what i can gather they suspect that the bricks might be in relation to the board models, mainly JSD as well as having a base version of 3.50 and above.

If we can test this more with people who have flashers, it would be great.
what we need is to create a thread with a list of SKU models with a tally of successful and bricked for each one. esp the CECH2025 that have never been downgraded and still getting bricks. if we can help rogero narrow down where it is bricking he may be able to find a solution.

well lvo keys here on ps3 scene so now " Where is Kmeaw " a lot of ppl brick their console while install Rogero 4.21 CFW so as i said we need Kmew to repack or rebuild this 4.21 CFW & provide for on Ps3 Scene i know Rogero Hard worker guy but he skip little bit work when he make OWN 4.21 CFW bY using Keys but any ways guys We need to wait for on ps3 scene for 4.21 CFW ........& ALSO WAIT FOR kMEAW.....

the easiest solution would be to mod the param.sfo file or make a new file using ps3sys. again, Google is your best friend in finding that program if you don't already have it

Thanks for the info. I am glad this is out and completely happy with it, eboot fixing hasn't been fun but other than that, just curious about the future of updating to new cfw, but my boneheaded self didnt think about it until i thought, well there isn't anything higher yet, so who nows Thanks for replying
