Thank you for the info, very interesting read
 Shame they (F0F) didnt release it "18 months ago".. So these are bootloader keys and not LV0 keys, so since LV0 is updatable and bootloader ISNT this means PS3 is blown open But it still means 3k/4k are untouchable without an exploit.

This mean that:
- All firmware (also future firmware) can be decrypted. - If you have updated your console to 3.56 or above, you need an exploit or a flasher for write the new and patched lv0. - For PS3 with new bootldr, we need an other exploit or something more (like new keys?) I thought I was about to read nonsense, but this was a "meh" read. Yes, these are the keys in bootldr (which I already confirmed two days ago when it was released). But you need a PS3 on 3.55 to install any cfw over that. If you're on 3.56, for example, you won't be able to install a cfw on there. You'd need a flasher to downgrade.
You could *potentially* just make a cfw that will work on fat and slim PS3s and it should work on the PS3s with metldr.2. Haven't tested that yet, but it's worth a shot. |

why not just try the same exploit on bootldr2?
