I am pretty sure the consensus here is that this does not work with metldr.2, right?
@Kyuubi93 This is all of the info I could find when it comes to what models came with it: http://www.ps3devwiki.com/wiki/Flash#new_metldr.2

First you need to say if you are currently on 3.55..

The "WMPDT355?" link in my sig will figure out your datecode for you.
![]() If my app says you can downgrade to 3.55 then you can possibly instal 4.21 CFW... but tbh I wouldnt touch 4.21CFW until its stabilised. As if anyone will listen though. The brick wave continues.

I would revert any changes I made to the files. I always keep my original untouched file copies as: eboot.bin.bak param.sfo.bak <whatever.sprx.bak as standard just in case I need to revert.

Ok I don't have backups for param.sfo but I do for eboot is there a way to revert by editing with HxD. Would be nice if deank put in a function to edit param.sfo for 4.21

Use the ps3 backups compatibility wiki to find the version number and use a sfo editor to put the correct version number back in? There must be a database of param.sfo's online? or maybe a reader to read the file from within a back up download link?
