For now I am assuming most CECH-25XXA/B models with base firmware as 3.50 are bricking with all the information I have read. If they are not, I'm still gonna wait for a more stable version which is bound to come.

Im not going to risk it.. Ill stay on 3.55 :D

I hope there will be an way to still use the new CFW on 2504A..

I recommend not risk your console... but if you want to give it a shot then go back to 3.55 OFW and after that install 4.21 using (do this all in RECOVERY) remember that there is no warranty that yours or anyone elses PS3 won't brick. There is always atleast 40%-70% chance to brick a console especially when installing an unstable CFW. Also remember to check the MD5 hash.
