@mrWodoo I wouldnt bother until its been made stable.

The link is removed because it caused too many bricks.

I would advise to stick with 3.55 based CFW for now, a new version of 4.21/4.30 cfw will be coming some time soon.

@geordiedan1892 read just a couple of posts back from where you are...

here: http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php?t=44651&page=73 posts 727 and 728 thats how you dehash once on 3.55, but you will need a hardware flasher and a FSM dongle to downgrade IF your PS3 can be downgraded.
(run minvercheck on you ps3, link in my sig)

Again though: I wouldnt install this 4.21 CFW its unstable and has been removed by its creator because it caused bricks....

" File Removed for Violation. "
This doesn't look like "Deleted by user".
I have ps3 phat, and I've read this cfw works great for PHAT consoles.

The official release thread over at tortuga-cove stated that Rogero had it removed.. not necessarily the link in this thread... anyway

...by all means install it if you want, if you can find a mirror.

Its your PS3.

The only thing you really need to know is how to use the search function and maybe even to read the thread before posting

Hi,

I’ve been lurking on this forum for quite some time now and never got the urge to ask or contribute (learning to develop homebrew for the PS3 platform).

But here goes: Is it wise to install this CFW or is it better to wait for a more stable one? I know the potential of my PS3 Model and its history (never downgraded and current CFW 3.55 Kmeaw) is pretty good but still, is there a chance it will brick?

Thanks in advance.

System Information:
CFW Kmeaw 3.55 - CECHL-03(PHAT)
( OFW 3.** > CFW 3.41 (PS3Key) > 3.55 CFW Kmeaw)

This firmware is too unstable and seems to randomly cause bricks even on consoles that should be safe to update so you should wait a little longer for a safer cfw.
