Hello, hope I find you well!

I would like to ask for advice/support on a problem I have updating Infamous 2 to the latest 1.04 if I may.

I seem to have completely confused myself (and no, that isn't that hard to do )

1. My original game when backed up is BCES01144
2. The 'fix' I believe I originally used changes this to BCES01143

That's all good and fine and is working and indeed I have BCES01143_INSTALL under hdd/game/ - so I install all latest 01143 patches AND the fix and after that the game loads to Infamous 2 logo and then black screen.

This I take it is because of the original fix, so I thought I might try on the off chance deleting 01143_INSTALL and swapping back the original 01144 EBOOT in usb/blahblah (so to remove original fix) install 01144 updates plus fix and run, but this fails with 'Install Failed' message...

So I find myself confused :P

Ultimately, I want to have 01143 installed as is now (because I presume the game saves wouldn't work anylonger if I changed to 01144) and update...

These ****ing numbers in my head!

I have Infamous 2 BCUS98125 and the update 1.04 is not working for me too....gives me black screen.....anyone know how it works...

You might as well start over, If you have BCES01144 then you would need the BCES01144 fix not BCES01143. Are you on 3.55? If you update to latest patch 1.04 then the game won't work.

If your on 4.21 cfw then you don't need any eboot fixes.

So if you haven't touch anything in the original game folder start over, go to Game Data Utility in xmb and delete anything infamous 2 this will delete the game install and the updates.

If your on 3.55 don't install the updates and you would need the BCES01144 fix no other fix will work, If your on 4.21 cfw then you can install the updates and won't need any eboot fix.

Are you on 3.55 cfw? If so the latest patch won't work on it. If you are on 3.55 cfw just go to Game Data Utility in xmb and delete all inFamous 2 stuff this will delete the update and the install load up the game and then reapply the 3.55 cfw EBOOT fix.
If your on 4.21 cfw then start over go to Game Data Utility in xmb and delete anything infamous 2.Then load up the game and let it install the updates no fix is needed when on 4.21 cfw.

I just fixed all regions of INFAMOUS 2 for CFW 341/355 . I will be uploading to my account & posting them soon .. They need multiple install . 101/102/103/104 .. To work proper . I have fixed the last on Patch v104 & have included the NFO with links for each patch region..

If looking for Fixed patches ..
