i think it is safe i have 2512A

I was on Kmeaw CFW and then updated to 4.21 CFW, works without brick

The QA thing sounds annoying.. and the downgrading before upgrading is tedious.

I will wait for CFW 4.30 once all the problems have been ironed out.. and when I can update directly from CFW 4.21_v1.

Also, I am a bit busy these days so I would prefer being able to update directly from XMB and not recovery menu. Developers, make this happen or else I will refuse to install your firmware.

i was getting the same error 2 n i know y cuz i had BD mirror on in MM on the game setting

I updated mine from 3.55 to rogero 4.21 i have a phat ps3 chechh01 and got BRICKED R.I.P

So my CHECHH01 is totally bricked now Went from Rogero's v1.0 and then followed the steps of using 4.21 to 3.55 and then qa flagging it and dehashing it. Then went to Rogero's 3.55 and dehashed again and went back to the recovery menu to install Rogero's 4.21 v1.09... let it start installing and I heard my console beep and looked at my black screen. Left it sit for a bit thinking it was restarting or something only to find out that now you can turn it on and the light stays green with no display and holding the power down won't take you into recovery mode.
