Question about down grading...
- Rename the downloaded file to "PS3UPDAT.PUP" and put it on your USB in: "USB\PS3\UPDATE\PS3UPDAT.PUP" - While on Rogero CFW4.21, go to System Update from XMB and install the 4.25 downgrader CFW. Do I just install and let it turn off after installed or what do I do? |

 .. I'm all sorted. I was reading the Summary instructions (Proper way and Alternate way) and missed the Toggle-qa bit in the detail above .. ha ha too many instructions !! Many thanks again !!I confirm all working on CECHL02 and Quit game works as well as being able to play RE6 from the \app_home\PS3 without having to have a disc inserted. FTP works too. So it is looking very good. Happy days are here again

I admire the work that went into this but it seems like a lot of unnecessary trouble when lv0 is leaked now. Ideally people could go from 3.55 to 4.30 cfw within a couple weeks.

Is this recommended to someone who has never hacked a ps3 in his life or should i wait for something more "stable" ? currently have a fat ps3

Went from Rogero's v1.0 and then followed the steps of using 4.21 to 3.55 and then qa flagging it and dehashing it. Then went to Rogero's 3.55 and dehashed again and went back to the recovery menu to install Rogero's 4.21 v1.09... let it start installing and I heard my console beep and looked at my black screen. Left it sit for a bit thinking it was restarting or something only to find out that now you can turn it on and the light stays green with no display and holding the power down won't take you into recovery mode.
