Okay I got my-DEX-flash.EID0.NORBIN (16mb) and I did the search for "00 00 00 01 00 82 00 01" cant find it.
Also got all kinds of E3Flasher 16mb dumps and cant find that hex string. Would either of you be able to help me find out which is which? I dont want to brick and I lost my old hdd on my old laptop with all my other files. ![]() I can upload my-DEX-flash.EID0.NORBIN I guess per your guide by lurkandlearn needs one as Cex one as DEX. :/ Im lost and been up almost 40 hours now. This is the cex2dex (original GUI) when I put my metldr dump and My-DEX-FLASH-EID0.BIN Output. REMOVED KEYS Does that mean this is a CEX EID0.NORBIN? Last edited by coragin; 10-28-2012 at 12:12 AM. |

mistawe already posted it, maybe a wrong search
open DEX-flash.EID0.NORBIN with HxD search, goto and check OFFSET 20f75 either cex or dex TargetID is there for the e3 dump (FII header at offset 200) first bytereverse it using Flowrebuilder open Flowrebuilder load "bkpps3.bin" selectr last option option 7 click execute operation now u have a bytereversed dump like the Multiman one check OFFSET 200 = reads as IFI then check OFFSET 2f075 for cex or dex targetid

@haz367
I had to redownload flowrebuilder. I have v4.1.3.2 and there is no option 7, there is only 4 options.
Code:
Unscramble then interleave flashes into one unified dump. Re-scramble modified dump then de-interleave it into two new flashes. Byte reverse and extract a NOR dump file. Extract a Byte reversed NOR dump or an interleaved and unscrambled NAND dump. Byte reverse and extract a NOR dump file. This works, I get a rar-like files bkpps3.bin.REV and a directory named bkpps3.bin.EXT I am not getting any kind of single file besides bkpps3.bin.REV If I use... Extract a Byte reversed NOR dump or an interleaved and unscrambled NAND dump. I get completed with errors on every single E3Flasher dump. Sigh. Now please keep in mind I have been up almost two days straight, but what am I missing here? ![]() ************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* I just want to check my my-DEX-flash.EID0.NORBIN and see if it is CEX or DEX, I cannot remember if I renamed it or what not. I got all the files needed ready to go and zipped can one of you please help me. I would not need halp had I not lost all my crap and working with random files I got spread around on my pc and not my laptop. ![]() I have the link right here Code:
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?8yt7cd4tf324fpw ![]() EDIT: Would it help to do a MM Flash dump and compare it to my current my-DEX-flash.EID0.NORBIN? Last edited by coragin; 10-26-2012 at 10:21 PM. |

my-DEX-flash.EID0.NORBIN The other three are part reversed and part not. If I was you I would go to sleep and when you wake up start fresh with a new dump from your ps3. |

Was my my-DEX-flash.EID0.NORBIN a DEX flash or CEX? I want to use this tutorial to return to CEX Code:
