Hi all same for me - asked for 4.40 via recovery and Simonbuck helped me out. Ran QA and all good. If it's of any help, here's what I did.

1. Install 4.25 Downgrader PUP via XMB
2. When done, install toggle_qa.pkg via XMB
3. Install RogeroCFW3.55v3.7 - via RECOVERY MENU
When done, recommended to dehash but I did not rehash.
5. When done - Install KMEAW-3.55CFW via RECOVERY MENU. Yes I installed KMEAW instead of OFW 3.55
6. When done - Install Rogero-421CFW1.09d via RECOVERY MENU.

I realized there are instructions already but I managed to install successfully as above and just trying to help.

I did exactly the same procedure, everything went well.

I need to pay more attention, sorry again. Are you still on 4.21v1?

If yes, updating straight to v9 will not work. Use the 421 downgrader and follow the Rogero´s downgrade tutorial before.

- Downgrading back to 3.55 is always possible using the following steps :
- Download the 4.25 downgrader PUP ---> 4.25 Downgrader Size 176MB (184,595,263 bytes) MD5: 49d80e07fc1f5ca1b0840e02e94635db
- Rename the downloaded file to "PS3UPDAT.PUP" and put it on your USB in: "USB\PS3\UPDATE\PS3UPDAT.PUP"
- While on Rogero CFW4.21, go to System Update from XMB and install the 4.25 downgrader CFW.
- Once installed, now put "Rogero CEX-3.55 CFW V3.7" on your USB in: "USB\PS3\UPDATE\PS3UPDAT.PUP" ---> Rogero CEX-3.55 CFW V3.7.PUP
- Start the PS3 into Recovery Menu and install "Rogero CEX-3.55 CFW V3.7" (from Recovery Menu, this is important)
- Once the install is finished, you're now back on Rogero CFW3.55 v3.7 (from here it's better to dehash again before installing any other OFW/CFW 3.55)

When I run Rogero Manager v8.5 it just black screens and then throws me back to the xmb.

Has anyone else had this happen?

Already installed the v9 in 3 ps3 running 4.21v1 and going straight from v1 to v9 never worked for me

it happened to me and nothing works no psn signed for 355 no managers no homebrew, i installed the regero signed for 4.21 and got black screen and ps3 turned off now it rebulding the library or somethin

I am on Rocgero CFW 3.55 v.3.7.

Do i have to go back OFW 3.55 before i update to Rogero CFW 4.21 v1.09, or is it enough if i go into recovery mode and update to Rogero CFW 4.21 v 1.09 from my current CFW?
