I'm total noob for this dehashing thing.
My base FW was 3.50 (CECH-2504B, data code 0D), after that i upgraded to 3.55 OFW and then flashed prepatched 3.55 KMEAW (both directly from XBM). So my console has never been downgraded. I only spoofed FW version couple of times in order to access PSN/prevent accidental FW upgrade. Currently i'm on spoof 9.99. Is firmware spoof risky thing to have before flashing? That is, should i dehash my console before upgrading to cfw 4.21 or disableing spoof will be enough? Or both? Last edited by nontryer; 10-27-2012 at 04:15 AM. Reason: mistake |

sorry for hijacking the thread but just wanted to ask itsakamel is there any chance he is going to be doing a dex 4.21 cfw as i would swear by his 3.55 one?

Guys... after updating from CFW4.21 v1.00 to CFW4.21 v1.09 make sure to delete the GameData of any game that stopped to work now on v1.09 (due to the spoof 4.25 being removed, previous GameData should be deleted and reinstalled again so the game can load properly)

sucesfully updated v 1.00 to 1.09 successfully with no flasher... i just followed it step by step you need to qa toggle before going in to recovery just to be safe.... now the ps button bug is fixed its almost perfect hehe.. i got showtime working and multiman and some homebrew

when i load persona 4 arena, it says "this software cannot be started due to region restrictions." can someone please help me wid dis?

CECH-2501B
Has anyone tried this on the model CECH-2501B? Not A but B. The thread says it's been fixed to work with 25xxx models but i'm not going to try it until i see at least one person who successfully upgraded to rogero's on the model i have.

Just updated from KMEAW 3.55 to Rogero 4.21 v 1.09 and all seemed to work fine, multiman boots fine but none of my backups work. I either i just get black screens or it comes up with "fatal error... please restart the game" and the same thing in a bunch of languages. Has anybody had this problem?
