Its correct to say that is a 4.25 or 4.30 cfw on the way? I am on 4.25 ofw, there is any method to downgrade without e3 flasher? Thanks and sorry for my bad english

yes, it works.. I was on 3.55 kmeaw and have successfully updated to 4.21CFW.. without dehashing as my ps3 has never been downgraded..

I have just bricked my FAT 40 GB CECHH04 model. A have successfully installed the ROGERO v1.0 version but I wanted to update it. I have downgraded back to Rogero 3.55 v7 and intalled the ROGERO 4.21 v1.09. I dont have a hardware flasher :-(

Unfortunately may not be any other alternative until you can get your hands on a flasher.

Man, This has been a crazy week of releases. I am thankful that Rogero has put so much work into this CFW, I certainly hope all the kinks get ironed out as well though. For now I will continue to hold out on Kmeaw until I see the green light on this.

PHAT ps3, Went from TB > OFW 3.55 > Rogero 4.21 CFW 1.09

Did all via recovery, never downgraded so never dehashed. My BluRay drive died on me last week, and despite attempts to fix, it still wont read any disc.

I installed the new Multiman, and so far I can only get 1 game working, and that is Street Fighter vs. Tekken.

None of my PSN content loads. None of the old homebrew loads (knew that before doing this.) None of the TB patched games load.

Every other retail game (unpatched) i copied over and tested from an EXT usb either error out to XMB or black screen (with or without ability to hit PS button and get back to menu).


Edit: Also forgot to say thanks to Rogero and others working on this so quickly. Keep doin' whatcha do.

My question: How safe is it to use the options 3,4, and 5 on the recovery menu with this CFW? Will I brick or will I just lose all data? I'm willing to wipe the HD, in hopes that my BluRay drive and my other issues are corruption in the database somewhere, as I don't hear many others talking about the issues I'm having.

I can vouch for that, Update via recovery from kmeaw no other steps taken (other than removing disc) and works great, I would still advise anyone unsure to follow all steps for peace of mind though.

Currently theres not any way to downgrade without a flasher
Just wait a little more, i have faith that devs il find an exploit or something, for we install the cfw or downgrade our console.

5th time asking..
I downgraded my PS3 long time ago from 3.4x (cant remember) to 3.41 with regular PUP (not using any flasher) in service mode. Am i ok to install 4.21 or any other upcoming cfw? Is it safe to update if i didn't use any flasher to downgrade or it does matter?
