Im a first time poster, right i have the first phat 60gb CECHC03 PS3, i was on 3.41 with usb PSbreak then updated to ofw 3.55, i then downgraded using the usb PSbreak back to 3.41 then updated to Rebug 3.55v2, i have run the qa flag and seen the edy fiewer while in rebug 3.55v2, so if i go into recovery mode and install ofw 3.55 then go into recovery mode and install Rogero 4.21v1.09 is this correct? otherwise i will just remain on rebug, Thanks for any advice

I went TB > kmeaw > Rogero and all is fine

Wow.. I was about to update my CECHG04 (40gb PAL) to 4.21 v1.09, and already Q&A'd it, when i just wanted to check hax for the latest info..

My PS3 was never downgraded.. only OFW it ever had on was 1.94, 3.15 and 3.55 before i updated to Kmeaw.. I know that i didn't need to Q&A it, but just to be on the safe side i did.

Reading that especially this FAT model is sensitive to bricking i'll hold off the update a little longer, but is it OK to leave Q&A enabled? And what are the consequences for my installed home-brew if i leave it on? (MM, bdRESET, lastGAME, etc)

Anyway I went to rebuild my database and it got stuck at 0% so I hard powered it off. This caused the file system to corrupt. I restored the file system and then rebuilt the database again.
Now the only things that work for me are multiman and my ps1 eboots. Every PSN game and PS3 backup with a modified eboot is giving me 80010017 error.
I used to get this error on 3.55 when trying to run a game that needed higher f/w...
So is there an easy way to fix my library of games? Or am I going to have to resign each eboot 1 by 1?

Update: Wow even DOA5 kicked me out with the same error! (obviously never cracked, should be 4.21 keys as far as I know) Ok so now I'm starting to think something isn't working right...

I have a fat ps3-CECHL-01, it has never seen above 3.55. I had 3.55 kmeaw then v1.0 of 4.21. I tried to load games on that one but it never goes back to the xmb-stays black screen. (I also change the bd-emulator to standard).

I did that whole 4.25to3.55--->rogero 3.55 cex---->then 3.55 kmeaw. didn't dehash because never downgraded the console. same thing, after loading a game stays black screen. anyone encounter this with this model?

@roland did you install BDEMU ?. Try to change to HERMES PAYLOAD in Multiman.

I got the same thing the first I time ran QA flag...black screen. I powered off the PS3 and ran it again and got the three beeps that indicated it worked. Try it again.

Sounds like you are all good to go to Rogero 4.21v1.09

I didn't... In multiman it gave the standard or hermes options but I'll try installing the one packed with multiman 4.07.01 and see what happens but I don't see how that'll fix the psn games...

EDIT: Actually there doesn't seem to be one packed in multiman, but there is bdreset... guess I'll try that... also found a pkg called gamedata...

EDIT 2: Yea neither of those were it... Where can I find an updated bdemu?

I can't now, everything is giving me the 80010017 error now that I am on 4.21

Same model as mine. Ive never downgraded but as long as your dehash worked then your good to go.

Install official 3.55 via recovery and then 4.21 1.09 via recovery again.

Note on the rogero forum rogero just told all on fat to stop ....... Reports of bricks.
