Validate MultiMan NOR Dump

Hi,

ic made a NOR Dump via mmOS and i checked the Statistical analysis which look fine, so i comoared the metldr and bootldr size, which look fine also, however if i try check with Flowrebuilder and select "byte reverse and EXTRACT a NOR dump File" it says the Operation Completed with Errors, it writes the *.swap.bin file and create the *.swap.ext Folder but the Folder is empty...

I try different Version from Flowrebuilder and run as Admin but no luck... i also Dumped many Times but the Situation doesnt change... is my Dump corrupted?

Cant comment on most of this but when making mine i use mmos ripped the flash out, copied to usb stick, rebooted ps3 and did again.

Four copies of my flash later used pc hash software to compare them all. If the hash was all the same then its a correct dump.

Chances of 4 corrupted dumps in a row all with the same hash is nill.

cant subscribe that if you get 4 times a bricked dump you can only see that they are equaly bad if the dump isnt valid...

@MARA87 thats exactly what i am doing :D i am here: http://www.ps3devwiki.com/wiki/Talk:...les.2Fsections but as i say flowrebuilder doesnt extract the files... but the offsets from metldr and bootldr are correct

Maybe try and dump with memdump v0.01, and not with multiman.. see if u can extract with flowrebuilder that way..

i never had any problems extracting a memdump dump.

yo... @iPwnz ...choose "extract a bytereversed NOR dump" instead

all software based dumps are like Progskeet,Teensy, i say in readable code/unscrambled

the other option u did is for E3 flasher "bkpps3.bin" backups, those read FII at offset 200
the one u have is already IFI
anyway thats ur problem

edit @iPwnz .... its easy mistake made..we all have..glad u joined the club hehe
