Oh thank god my ps3 did not brick! I updated my phat CECHA last night.

Everything works great except rogero manager and psn games.

Anyone have a solution for psn games? I don't want to have to downgrade whenever I want to play psn games.

I tried games like Unreal Tournament 3 and a few other OLD ones (like pre-3.55) and they do work from multiman but anything with a 3.55 eboot doesn't work

Just NOTHING else works...

Try editing the PARAM.SFO of the game on your PC using Aldostools PARAM.SFO Editor. Change the FW version to 4.21! That should work.

Make sure you try every possible way to play your games. For instance, RE6 didn't work for me from bd mirror so I launched it from App/home and it worked fine. And vice versa for other games. I think you've got it though. It's probably working as good as it's going to. Your only other options are to wait for a more stable version or downgrade back to 3.55. It reminds me a lot of the first jailbreak which was very buggy at first. It will get better.

Yes, you have to rename it. Your PS3 won't recognize it otherwise

Yea I've tried direct boot, discless, with a disc, nothing.

I did just check QA flag (with button combo) and discovered it is NOT enabled. Depsite making sure it was before upgrading. Should that have maintained through the update or would it not be enabled now?
(and because of the error I obviously have no way of re-enabling it)

I find this odd that I am the only one with this exact problem and no fix...

hey my gran turismo has been a pain in the ass for so long tho,even when i installed the updates,however my call of duty 2 modern warefare isnt loading, and they are still some little bugs like sometimes when u load games from multiman, you have to exit multiman before it goes back to xmb and also we neeed to find a way to make sure all 3.55 modified eboots works for us i avent had any problem with NODRM eboots as well theve been excellent, although most homebrews avent yet be signed.... we should ask rogero to make us a 4.21 signer to sign all our eboots thankxxxx

regarding fixed EBOOTs. i have tried loading some games wich i know i have used fixed 3.55 EBOOTs on, and they work just fine. actually, it all works just like kmeaw right now, execpt i can play new games! still have to try PSN games tho (damn kid watching cartoons :P)
