Exclamation FSM Problem

Ok so about a year or so ago had a ps3 that had a bad bluray drive, but since the drive board was good i could still run packages and such. later on when remarrying became possible i attempted to downgrade from 3.55 kmeaw to 2.15 a dongle and the other files. well i dont know what happened during the downgrade but the ps3 never shut itself off . "i left it on all night" so eventually i cut it off. which in turn left it in a semi-brick, but at the time i thought it was a full brick and since i had another ps3 with cfw i just chunked it in the closet.

ok so a few days i found the ps3 and figured i would do some research, and discovered it was only semi bricked, since it was only a semi-brick i just made a new usb stick, added the lv2diag and the 3.55ofw and let it do its thing. that fixed it andi was left with a working ps3 in ofw 3.55. ok next is where i messed up. i tried to install kmeaw while in fsm which in turn caused an update loop and an rsod. so scoured the forums looking for ways to fix it, and found a patched pup that would apparently allow it to boot, but that didnt help. eventually i found a lv2diag rsod fix that is supposed to completely fix it and it did. it also took me out of fsm which was fine at the time. the problem is now come to find out my bluray drive board is bad and i need to get in fsm but when i use pspjig like i did before it just boots up normally instead of turning itself off and entering fsm. i found software ways to enter fsm but i cant run pkgs without a married drive board.

so im stuck out of fsm, i cant run pkgs, i have a new drive to marry, and i can go from 3.55 ofw to any 3.55cfw....if anyone could help it would be awesome.

pspjig is hit and miss
i personaly have never got it to work but @playerkp420 has never had an issue.

it could be that you simply need to put 3.55 ofw with nobd nobt and then you find it works. (the rsodfix may have altered something for the pspjig to work)

you may need to re-do the cfw on the psp or format the psp's mem card then re-install the jig and files.

there are alot of possible answers to this

as i said the psp jig is hit and miss

Hm I read back over pspjig and the disclaimer says it needs kernel mode so the PSP must be 6.35 or lower..mines 6.60 that may be it. On another note will a ps3 with a 3.55 cfw with no BD no bt or whatever allow me to run pkgs? Thanks

From what I have seen, PS3Jig only works on 5.50 cfw. And maybe only 1000 model PSPs.

Mine is a 1001 on 5.50 GEN D
