Resident Evil 6 - Verifying Data Problem
Hi I have the game version BLES01465 and am on rebug cfw 3.55.2. I used the 1.01 patched for 3.55 and when i select the game from multiman the "Verifying Data" takes about 20min but the game loads fine.
Multiman version : 04.08.00...Tried it with and without BD mirror and with both standard and hermes BD-Emulator.. nothing seems to change the load timing of the game in multiman btw loading the game from external 500gb HDD. Any Solutions? |

I read somewhere removing extra unused languages speeds up the process. I haven't confirmed it myself though due to not having the game.

I was getting that same thing on a USB external flash drive. The reason is because the game contains 19,000 files. It took me 45 mins to copy it to the internal hard drive. However Assassin's Creed III, which is about the same size has 300-1000 (off the top of my head) files I believe and that took 10 minutes to copy from external to internal. So it really comes down to the number of files a game has

Yeah, various games "Verifying Data" times vary because of the size and how many files that have to be differentiated between before its actually verified to be launch via XMB. What you could do is either buy the actual game or look at the files on the backup and remove what's not needed to your preference. For example the Update folder isn't needed and as well foreign language files. You can remove/convert audio and video files too like they do in PC game repackages.

But it only does it the first time it's run. After that there is no wait when running it again. This is the problem. |

if you guys are that impatient, you can always turn off the "verifying data" by going to the settings tab in multiman, then down to "verify usb games" and disable it.
