thanks I had forgotten all about those, unfortunatly still no luck. If I figure it out i'll post what the hang up is. Gonna try a lot more variants of my setup, it has to be something small/stupid.

Is it your own rip or a d/l ??

if its been downloaded then I believe only the Duplex "proper" version is working.

no, i even reripped it. disc or backup runs the same. I'm thinking it may have a timeout issue as I'm wirelesss with wep encryption looping thru the laptop(fu*kpsn). Going to try some different connection setups then some fu*kpsn alternatives. I may even try to change the region as I've noticed in my param.sfo a psn id along with mine(I seen you posted one I'll compare first). Worst case I have Back ops to play but the secondary guns in mw3 are better.

I am recently really out of luck with those eboot fixes. Nothing seems to work anymore.

I made a backup of MW3 with MMan on internal HD
Installed PSN updates v119 through 121
Installed Zombiekillah's Patch 1.22
Installed Zombiekillah's Patch 1.23

I mount the game from Multiman, click on the disc icon on XMB -> black screen
HD lights blinks forever, but nothing happens.
I am really frustrated, this has happened to me very often with recent games. It used to be so easy Don't tell me this only works on external

I could only get this working on internal with BD-Mirror and without a disc in the drive.
I haven't tried it with any patches though.

Give it a try without a disc in (launch via app_home).

If i activate BD-Mirror, external gets automatically checked in MMan. Am i missing a step??

I haven't tried it with any patches though.

Now i am totally confused. How can you run this game on CFW without any patches?

BD-Mirror will work with internal fine. Check your settings. You may have to deselect "External" after selecting BD Mirror

I meant update patches. I obviously used the eboot patch

I can't deselect it once BD Mirror is set.

finally everything works :D dont know how I got to the point but with few transfers all over again and repeating steps it was done. What is the situation now with the PSN access and playing this game online? Yes I am new after such a long time so I am not familirized with the current strategies. Just been reading that is possible to play the games online...any advice?
