4.30 OFW detects E3 4.30 CFW - PS3Hax Network

I haven't read this on the forums, besides those who say that you need to downgrade to 3.55 to put this firmware. However, I have put the E3 firmware on the PS3 while on 4.30 OFW and it detects it (haven't tried installing it yet!). What happens if I continue?

you should add this " ? " to your title, since you haven't tried it yet. thanks

It will detect it no matter what, it won't install it though so save yourself the trouble.

I was going to put the "?", but it is a fact, the update got detected. i tried installing it and got the error 8002F957.
