That is exactly what I spent hours trying to figure out last night.

its really easy you need multiman 04.08.00 or newer, put a usb stick in the usb000 port (the one farest right from front, usb001 will not work), make sure its atleast one file on there (you can copy some from a game if not), go to file manager to enter mmOS and navigate from PS3root to youre usb drive, mark the file with X then press O and choose: open in Hex Editor, then just press SELECT and then START and follow the onscreen instructions, you can make this step from hdd then it will write lv1&lv2 dump to hdd but for a flashdump you need a usb stick on usb000

Hello, i need an advice.
I made a dump with multiman and my question is if i need to byte reverse with flow rebuilder, then patch with PS3 Nor Dump Patcher v0.01 by rogero and then flash with e3 flasher or i need to patch directly the dump without byte reversing. I read every tutorial (ps3devwiki, bailey's) but no one wrote anything about multiman dumps. I made a byte reverse and look like 00 00 00 00 AC 0F FF E0 00 00 00 00 AD DE EF BE and without byte reverse is like 00 00 00 00 0F AC E0 FF 00 00 00 00 DE AD BE EF. Which one is correct for E3 ? PS: I validated my dump and is ok |

E3 flasher needs the dump to be byte reversed. multiMAN makes the dump normal, and not byte reversed. Rogero's Nor Dump Patcher will patch it either way. But to flash it with e3 flasher it will need to be byte reversed. So, what I would do is: Use flowrebuilder to byte reverse. Patch with Nor Dump Patcher. Then flash with e3 flasher. It would also work to Patch with Nor Dump Patcher. Use flowrebuilder to byte reverse. Then flash with e3 flasher. But I would do it the first way, just so when you patch it, Nor Dump Patcher will say it is byte reversed e3 flasher style. All in all, both will give the same result. I'm curious though, why are you flashing a multiMAN dump with e3 flasher? Did you brick?

and i need to reflash or recover from a brick. That's why i made this dump to prevent any future inconvenient. I've seen many people with bricked consoles without a valid dump: Thanks for your advice |
