Uhm hi guys, im new here and i just got my ps3, and i know nothing about hacking, can anyone please teach me how to put some downloaded games on my ps3? My ps3's firmware is 4.30. Thank you. )

Search the forum for a while and you will find your answers, the people here like to see that you search a little before they spend the time giving you all the answers, dont let them steer you away from your goal of joining the CFW scene .. but you will either need to purchase an e3 flasher or progskeet depending if your ps3 is a NOR or NAND model (search the forum to determine what yours is) Or you will need to find someone to offer you their services to downgrade it..However it will ultimately come down to whether or not your ps3 is downgradeable to OFW3.55 or lower..and this you can determine with a quick search of your ps3s model number (loacted on the back of your system---also can determine whether your mobo is NAND or NOR)

Yeah but not in the way everyone else has suggested to update it. I have seen people say that highest hackable firmware should say 4.30 and this is not true. You need to be on 3.55 so I would leave 3.55 as highest hackable firmware. We do seem to have PSN access for the moment, and 4.30 is down-gradable via flasher still (if you have a model that can be downgraded to 3.55)

Also to the OP welcome to ps3hax. Please have a look at the rules. There are several people that might not be willing to help you because you mentioned downloaded pirated copies of PS3 games.

he said downloaded, he never said pirated..you never know, he may have been referring to 3rd party applications where the developer relased it online to the public for free...hell this guy might be a saint..hahaha..*unlikely* innocent until proven guilty :P
