So I updated to this Rogero 4.30 cfw... anybody else having a problem with when grouping or sorting your xmb the setting don't stay now? Or is this just me? If I restart or go into multiman they are just a big jumbled mess with no folders again. Its not a huge deal but it is annoying.

Downgrading made me think I lost my bluray drive yesterday. Won't take that chance again...

I tried doing it from the xmb going from Rogero's 4.25 v1.09 straight to his 4.30... was a no go... said I could install up to firmware 1.20 or something odd like that. Had to do the whole downgrade and QA flag BS to get back to 3.55 and then back up. Probably a 30min process, lets hope this isn't the case every time a firmware comes out.

ok first things first can i update straight from ofw 3.55 to 4.30 rogero
already have a dump of my ps3
or do i need to go to 4.21
i installed it on my mates one straight from kmeaw to 4.21

just curious is it possible to go from E3 4.30 > Rogero 4.30 in recovery?

that was how i updated from 4.21 1.0 > 4.21 1.9

so im guessing it would be fine for me right ?

Oh dear.....some people are just way too impatient.
Whats 30 mins ?
The devs have taken hours of their time so we can benefit from their hard work.
Just be a little bit more appreciative.

how did you updated your fat ps3? on the 4.21 version a lot of the bricked ps3 were from fat ps3, is their a different way to update a fat compared with the slim units?
