Not meaning to hijack the thread but I just received my 1.2 and am about to begin the process of fixing my DEX->CEX brick. I can't seem to find any diagrams for the NAND wiring as I'm thinking I shall try without the clips and if I understand correctly I must solder directly to the NANDs. Is this correct and does anyone have a link to any diagrams? I don't see any in baileys guide. Thanks!

When you use winskeet to check for shorts you may receive this--- "shorts found checkGP0 GP1 GP2 GP3 GP4 GP5 GP6 GP7 GP8 GP9 GP10 GP11 GP12 GP13 GP14 and GP15" ---No idea what this is...but if you do recieve this message post back here, as i am currently awaiting an answer for this

I did too the first time, are you using windows 7?

make sure your progskeet is connected to the slave board via ffc cable and connected to the pc with the usb cable (injectus is not connected at this time) when installing the usbdriver.

I already solved that and posted my results above. One thing I don't understand is was I supposed to solder the injectus to the progskeet to program? I just used the ffc cable that came with it.

Also what is everyone's opinion of the 360 clip? I've heard mixed results about it and I agree it would be easier than soldering to the nand legs, but does it hold up over time?

sorry the forum has been extremely slow lately, no using the ffc cable was fine *I asked the same question when talking to progskeet support* as far as the 360 clip and this is straight from the wholesalers website *It is expected to be a 1time use device as it is a delicate clip* however as long as I think you are carefull when fitting it you can use it more than one but the qsbs are not release yet but they will be far more stable

I already ordered my 360 clip from vgcrepairs so ill be getting it soon along with my soldering kit tomorrow, I cant wait to downgrade my ps3s...I just hope the shorting is a false positive..Hopefully I can get into contact with someone soon to confirm this...but @4DoorITR if you find out anything please post here so others can know as well

Oh I thought you had finished the process already. I am trying to unbrick after a failed DEX to CEX conversion. If I find anything I'll be sure to put it here.

Nope, im trying to recover 3 bricked NAND models I had bought for $40 each after a bad flash..but i dont want to move foreward until I figure out whats up with the positive short readings..because I know re-flashing is a sensitive process and I dont want to mess anything up....I'm also a newb haha

But if you do decide to move foreward and if everything works out let us know
