check your PS3 model is it 3000/4000?if yes, it still cannot be jailbroken yet..

This is going to sound silly, but have you tried the following?
1. ensure a game is in the drive (any ps3 game)
2. checked to see if multiman is set to hermes in settings, if so, try to go into the game itself and try to pick external and bdmirror
3. have the games you have been modified with psarc files, other files, etc?
4. deleting old game data in the game data utility? Older games should be fine that i have tried (heavy rain, modracers, etc) but games at around 3.55 launch and later that have game data, delete them. your game saves are ok and wont be impacted by deleting game data, not saved game data.

hope it helps. Most of my games are working ,but as i mentioned earlier, dmc collection didnt work and I know for sure some files were modified on that game.

sorry mate , I didn't said that "corrupted data" occured , it went foward .. but I didn't complete until Iam sure .. is this going to break my ps3 or there is no risky going foward ... thanks alot for helping ..

@regg949 well, I had played DMC collection on DEX 4.21 and It is still working on Rogero 4.30 CFW.

If your console can be downgraded and you have enough money to send it to a handyman, you can surely go on. but if not do not attempt this.

I have 4.21 from 3.55 ke now is it ok to just do a str8 upgrade or is it a downgrade upgrade palava ?
