Hello,

After my fail attemp with PS Jailbreak dongle

I have decided that I will go and buy a new one.

Im at a piont where the screen say "Connect a controller and hit the ps button" need a dongle to get into fsm / downgrade the ps3 to 3.55 (downgraded with e3 flasher)

Have anyone knowledge that this will downgrade my ps3 slim?
it was the cheapest I could find and they will send to my country.

Which model is the ps3? I have a CECHG-04 NAND and i can't find a person or dongle to downgrade! Please anybody who wants to help me pm me! I will pay off course

ok, I hope you are right, dont want to get another dongle that dont do the downgrade.

I have downloaded the program from the homepage and get these files:

Amaze.dll
Amaze.exe
amazebreak_upgrade_20101025.bin

what to do next?

Amazebreak won't work.

It was the cheapest and nastiest of JB dongles (I had 4!!!! lol). It doesn't have enough onboard storage to write the FSM thingy to it, can't remember the details but I think it's only got 32kb of writable flash which isn't enough.

Also, I don't think it's possible to write any user payloads to it anyway, as the flasher isn't useable with universal hex code. It uses some encrypted payloads for updates etc, and nobody figured out how to write standard hex code.

Throw that thing in the bin, like I did....ooooh....2 years ago.

Can you recommend couple of dongle that can be used for the downgrade process? Thx in advance.

God knows mate, I don't know which version I had...It was one of the first batch about 2.5 years ago so can't comment.

If that's a version 3 then it could well be that my comment is invalid as it might have larger flash rom.

Personally I'd use an android phone for any FSM needs.
