when i bought my ps3 it was on 6.00 and i upgraded it to 7.72 can it be downgraded with this to 3.55 or below

Its apparent you have no idea what you are talking about since Sony Official firmware has never exceeded the current OFW which is 4.30.

Can I update my CFW 4.21 (Rogero) to CFW 4.3 (Rogero)? Or do I need to go to 3.55 and then 4.3 ?

Cant wait for retro arch to get ported and also all the other homebrew so far goin good
Had to update my games no hurry noticed showtime kicks out to xmb a bit
But was happening on kmeaw as well

People have reported that working fine. But it's isn't the proper way and most would recommend against doing it that way.

Personally, I wouldn't see a problem myself - but I'm not advising that to you.

It's not actually known if that really is safe or not, it certainly can't hurt to do it properly apart from the time hassle.

I didnt actually see his post count, but I think my response was fairly straight forward and lacking of sarcasm at all.

Retroarch, standalone emulators and other popular homebrews were already resigned to run on 4.x

If anyone is interested, I went from kmeaw 3.55 to rogero 4.20 CHECK04 all went fine
