Can anyone help me out?

First the specs:
European FAT 40g - CECHG04
Backups 1TB External HDD with a 500G FAT32 partition. Worked perfectly with cfw3.55

Here's my problem: Done everything what the guide said, dehash, lv0 lv1 backup etc. Was on kmeaw 3.55, switched to OFW 3.55 than to Rogero 3.55 v3.7, than updated to 4.21, all from recovery menu. Worked great, had the new FW on, multiman worked and so on, but the problem comes when I'm playing backups. The game starts, I can play a few minutes, but than it just stops, stillframe, the music still plays, but everything else is frozen, can't even go back to XMB menu. At first I thought it was the game which was faulty, (DOA5) tried another one (Lollipop Chainsaw) same thing. Figured, it's because they are newer games, tried an older one had the same result. At than I thought it was because of the new external HDD rack (it supports USB3), or the file integrity on the HDD was corrupred. Plugged it into the my PC, ran some filesystem checks, defragmantation and so on. Tried it again with DOA5 since that was the fastes one to freeze, and again, same result. Than I figured I should try it on Internal, so copied the game onto the PS3 HDD, and again, freeze. This was yesterday, now I saw 4.30, tought it could help. So again with the downgrade, upgrade procedure, but to be safe I've Full Formated the internal drive, did some system recovery, any everything I could find in the recovery menu. Installed 4.30, full formated again, just to be safe. The CFW again, worked fine, got the new multiman, set permissions, external ok go. DOA5 again. After in the middle of the 4th fight, same stillframe freeze as earlier. So I can probably rule out my external HDD, and my PS3 is literally empty, like a newly bought virgin PSmodel, with fresh CFW, rebuilt file system, formated HDD, and so on.

So can anybody tell me what's worng with my console?

Is it just me or this CFW is a little bit messed up?
When I'm in a game and I press PS button to close it I can see that the DISC image/icon is reversed and the game name is just - ?

Besides that it seems to work fine. I'm on SLIM CECH-2503B from OFW3.55 not downgraded version.

I'm currently on Kmeaw 3.55, been reading a lot of posts here n at Tortuga Cove but i haven't been able to find my answer.

Can someone in the UK check to see if the BBC iPlayer under the TV section works as it should..

On Kmeaw 3.55, it just throws up an error code, so I've been used the web based iPlayer.

I actually wonder how they'll figure out what consoles to ban since every console is on a legit 4.30...It's just jailbroken - but that shouldn't show anywhere.

I don't KNOW things. I just read the TUTs, instructions, whatsoever, and everything works just fine.
When I installed 3.55 KMEAW I just followed the instructions, didn't have to ask anybody when I had any errors because others had those errors before and I just did what they were told to do.

Which balls do I lick?
Most likely mine, because it's MY oppinion that these threads should remain clean and clear.
I don't want to read through the same problems several times until I can discover some usefull new info, hidden between 10 or 20 posts about the same problem...

But we're getting off-topic, which wasn't my intention at all (yep, because I want to keep this sh1t clean and clear).

And I'm done arguing with NEWBIE trolls like you.

Well, some stated before that 4.30 is pretty buggy. Don't know whether OFW to, or only CFW.

And there's supposed to be a patch for the PS-Button issue. Don't know if it's for this issue or another.

try to downgrade frist then try to reinstall 4.30 maybe it will help

what about the risk of bricking of CECHG NAND consols??

my bricked by trying upgrade to 4.21cfw and i want to unbrick it. will this release work ??
