The tutorials work fine if you follow them correctly.

Being on system software version 3.55 you want to install in this order

3.55 OFW > 3.55 CFW (3.55 Rogero) > QA toggle > enter recovery > install 4.30 rogero. Tortuga-cove is where the original release happened and they have a very good tutorial that works if you just follow it.

Also now that I read a little more, I am missing where you said what firmware version you were on. If you are not on 3.55 then there is nothing you can do unless you want to buy a hardware flasher.

Also dont use e3 4.30....use 4.30 rogero

If you are not on 3.55 then there is nothing you can do unless you can downgrade back to 3.55 which required additional hardware, soldering, and some electronics skill

Did you read my post at all? I told you what firmware you needed to be on (3.55), I gave you simple instructions, I gave you a link to a full tutorial, and I also said stay away from e3.

Not trying to be rude, but you are only the 1000th person I have dealt with that will not read.

i would say just install 3.55 kmeaw, don't see the benefit in going to 4.30, but that's just my personal opinion.

Okay, I did have a read through that page you gave me but to be fair, I just had a quick look. I'll go back over it and see if I can work it out.

I wasn't talking about downgrading. I meant downloading ps3 games online and whether or not I could play all the latest games when I Jailbreak my ps3?
